’Spider’ was written by Mr. Allan Murray for the Suncoast Sound Drum Corps in Tampa Bay Florida in 1986, in an effort to make the study of rudiments an enjoyable experience.
If you listen closely, you will hear the five bass drums executing 32nd notes flawlessly with the snares. This is not a trick accomplished through my Sibelius 6 program, this is exactly how it was played and how it sounded.
Drum corps produces some of the best drummers and horn players the world has ever seen.
There are certain proprietary recording techniques employed to bring about a level of realism. These will remain secret.
