Originally written for solo instrument plus basso continuo (one figured bass line). The keyboardist was expected to "fill in" the other parts based on the chord structure given in the figured bass line. In this arrangement, the melody (trumpet 1) and bass (tuba) lines are Telemann’s, while the other three lines are based on the chord structure (with a few extra notes added for interest.)
