The piece follows the development of my compositional proficiency with a two year gap between movements: Monday was written in 2001, and later revised in 2003, when Wednesday was composed, which was then revised in 2004.
The pieces are both in the Aeolian mode, and are in regular time and rhythm and are supposed to be appealing in their simplicity as they are loosely modelled upon non-classical music aesthetics. To hear the difference in skill proficiency levels, step backwards by listening to Monday after listening to this.
