This piece is based on a 12 bar blues progression. The Nashville Double Reed Ensemble often uses this piece as a program closer. Recently, we performed it using several extra musicians doubling parts, and it worked well. In this edition, I have re-orchestrated it to include only 2 English horns, which are most often available. Also, the articulation is adjusted to improve the ensemble.
