The way I composed this piece is a bit of a departure for me from my more usual sit at the Clavinova, working on the chords, melody etc. Then when there's something workable tranferring to Sibelius. This piece came about with me messing about. I was having a good day away from the constant pain I usually suffer from. I was playing my flute and just started to improvise, the result is The Deceptions of Thought. I improvised most of the flute part and it was just aquestion of fitting the piano accompaniment. I enjoyed composing this using a different method from my norm, I may try it again! This piece will be challege to most flute players but I hope you enjoy - constructive reviews please.
