Tenor Saxophone from Irish Memories
This as you will find out is not a jazz piece at all but just written to be played by a "dance" combo. My band plays this all the time to the delight of our dancers and for some reason it’s become a "hit" in our circles. There are two other versions on this site for piano solo and piano/violin (more formal in nature) but this new one is just the tune twice through with a saxophone lead the first time (you could choose any other instrument you’d like) and a piano solo on the repeat. Of course you can easily add a bass player and a drummer but they won’t need parts. If you play for dances I’m sure your crowd will love this one. The score has only the piano part visible so you need only to get the parts.
