original for cornet and piano. Arban wrote at least 16 fantasies for cornet on themes from 19th-century operas–14 of them based on Verdi. Friedrich von Flotow wrote about 30 operas, though today he is largely seen as a one-hit wonder for his light opera "Martha". I've included some cues to allow a band to spread around the solos if so inclined.
