Ihave transposed the piece into Eb, so that the Bb clarinets are in F, the same key as the A clarinets in the original version. This makes the parts easier to read. This arrangement of the Overture to the Marriage of Figaro sits well for clarinet choir (dectet.) I have not written this as tutti throughout, allowing the players somewhere to breath!. I have modified the string parts to make them more suitable for wind, The alto clarinets are copies of the original horn parts, so are easier, and could be omitted without any loss of musicality. All the parts have plenty to do, but the trickier stuff is on parts 5 and 6. The complete overture is still quite a blow but playable. Enjoy.
