The Danse Villageoise makes an exciting and spirited Flute Choir piece. Originally for piano (Pieces Pittoresques (1880), no 7), Chabrier modified and lengthened it for his Suite Pastorale of 1888. I have followed the orchestral score for this arrangement, and retained the original key. Great fun for audience and players. I know of no other flute choir arrangement of the piece.
