This set of three songs - The Silkie of Sule Skerry (a silkie is a seal that can take human form and live on land) - The Boat Song (don't know where from, but that's what the McCallmans called it when I recorded it with them) - The Mingulay Boat Song (one of the southernmost isles of the Outer Hebrides) - evoke massive vistas of sea and sky, endless summer nights and the flickering Northern Lights.
