You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.Simon Balicourt appears to be unknown except for the ’Second Suite of Solos for a German flute and a bass’, published by ’John Johnson, opp. Bow Church, Cheapside’ some time in the mid 18th century. I have already uploaded an edition of Sonata no 1 in B minor. This, his Sonata no 3 in F, follows a similarly simple harmonic and structural pattern. All slurs and ornaments as in the original printed copy; all tempi markings are editorial, as are all suggested dynamics. Flute part and figured bass as in the original; realisation of keyboard fully editorial. I have added the viola da gamba/cello part as an optional extra.
