Il signor Bruschino premiered January 27, 1813 by „the fiasco“, and was immediately replaced by Stefano Pavesi’s Ser Marcantonio. Beginning with the edition of the Rossini Opera Festival of 1985 opera, performed on the basis of the critical edition of the score, began to appear in the Billboard musical seasons.
