I was asked by Bob Katcher, who directs a wind band in Massachusetts, to adapt this song for wind band a three female voices. This was for open-air performance in the summertime. It was a challenge because of my unfamiliarity with some of the instruments and the peculiar problems of open-air performance.
It is an upbeat song despite its creepy notion of a woman drawn into the web of a spider (man).
There is a solo version with keyboard and an orchestral version.
I can supply free instrumental parts for any.
