Undoubtedly Jeremiah Clarke’s best known piece (originally for harpsichord!) the ’Prince of Denmark’s march is usually played as a trumpet showpiece. Nothing can beat a high D trumpet and a fine organ played in a large church or cathedral. This is precisely what this version was written for. Many trumpeters find it difficult to come by a fully written out version for 3 stave organ, so here it is!The organ part is very straightforward and may be played on any organ (pipe or electronic) with a full pedal-board (but could easily be adapted for a short pedal-board). A superb wedding processional piece. Many more of my compositions and transcriptions may be seen and heard at www.scoreexchange.com/profiles/dwheatley
