This delightful arrangement of the traditional ’Greensleeves’ melody for ladies voices (SSA) with harp accompaniment and obbligato wind parts, makes a very good concert piece, and is also ideal for singing at a Wedding - for instance whilst the register is being signed. The sound track is taken from a live concert using a very cheap portable tape recorder at which the 1st public performance of this piece was given. Performed by my very talented group of ladies, with assistance from 3 friends on flute, clarinet and harp respectively. The harpist was 17 years old and partially sighted. The words were specially written by yours truly for this and I conducted this first performance.
