Violin I from Beethoven: Suite for Strings No. 1 - I Andante and Variations
This is the first of four movements. The music is melodic and entertaining. An attempt has been made to give optimal opportunity for each player to partake of the melodies as much as possible. The last movement is a little more challenging for the first violin. I will be submitting another version for string quintet, substituting a second cello for the bass part. A Second Suite for Strings will follow, arranged from the piano sonata opus 14 #2.
