A chance remark led to this transcription, which actually works very well, but several of the clarinet parts need grade 7 or better. All the string parts have been verbatim transcribed to a clarinet part. As there is no bass clarinet in A, the whole thing has been transposed up a semitone to make it playable on Bb instruments. Please don't try to use more than one player to a part! All four movements are now available separately and as a whole piece. The transcription was made by a retired string player who has played the work many times both on violin and viola.
