The last song from Henry Purcell's most well-known opera Dido and Aeneas has been arranged for small orchestra. Purcell probably wrote the music about 1684-1685, when he was about 26. This chorus song, "With dropping wings, ye Cupids come," is played in act 3, after another famous aria "When I am laid in earth" (or, as I'd like to put it, "Remember Me, But Forget My Fate") is sung by Dido.
