The narrator, Jim Jones, is arrested, tried, and sentenced to transportation. En route, his ship is attacked by pirates, but the crew holds them off. Arriving in Australia, Jones vows to escape, join the bushrangers, and get revenge.
This arrangement of one of the several tunes for this song is for full orchestra, building on each verse with interesting countermelodies in the flute, clarinet and horn parts with the addition of Timpani and Glockenspiel. Listen to MP3 for a much better sound!
