A lively single-movement quartet for saxophones with Latin influences.

Inspiration struck, after watching ‘Saxology’ perform at a concert in honour of the festival of St Cecilia. The music heard in this quartet was promptly written after the event.
In a single movement, the music begins with a slow introduction which is sombre in tone. After the first cadence point, the music springs to life in a lively Bossa Nova, with blues connotations.
