Song 748 Sun and Moon Pop
In the bright shining light of our sun It is under it that we long to be The only time in life that we feel free Its warm rays and bright glow are so much fun Of all the stars it’s my favorite one When there is no sun it is hard to see But with the dawn of light we are set free Until our sun sets and we are done
What would we do without sun? I don’t know I think the world would be a real dark place So black that no living thing earth could show So bless the sun that I feel on my face
In the pale glow of the moon oh so fair It makes life’s journey such a mystery Reflecting the sun and shining through trees We like the cold night with wind in the hair Under moon we can be without a care And when it’s full it’s quite easy to see In the cool night is where we like to be Come with us under the moon if you dare
What would we do with no moon? I don’t know I think the world would be a boring place Without ocean tides that the earth could show So bless the moon that will light up my face
Without the moon and sun oh what a bore It would not be the same without their grace We need them both to see each other’s face If they were gone life would be the worst chore The more I think I need them more and more Night and day the sun and moon its life’s pace As round and round the world goes in this race The sun and moon they do make life galore
