This is an original flute trio, arranged here for three Bassoons. The music is entirely derived from the opening motif, which occurred to me on the date of my civil partnership anniversary (11 years).

It's a simple ditty, but I wanted to try to test the strengths of the players. The parts all cover a wide range, and the players need to be able to sustain the rhythmic pulse in 6/8.

Although the tempo is marked <dotted q>=110, it can be played up to 10 BPM faster or slower, depending on the skill of the ensemble.

This would make a great addition to a recital programme or a spring or summer concert.
