You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.Although the canon may be played by four flutes, it is essentially a trio, with a suitable bass instrument playing the repeating 'ground bass' Parts are provided for any of the following which may play the lowest part: Flute 4 (which may also be played on the oboe), clarinet in Bb, Bass clarinet, bassoon, violin, viola or cello - any or all of which may be downloaded. Due to the lower compass of the flutes the canon has been transposed up from D to G - enjoy.
