Emánuel Moór (1863-1931) was a Hungarian composer and pianist. He is also famous for his invention, the Emánuel Moór Pianoforte with double-keyboard. He composed 228 works including several chamber musics with string instruments. This suite, Op.133 was originally composed for 3 Violins, which was arranged is for Terzetto (2 Violins and Viola). The low-tone range of Viola makes the music more dynamic. This is very interesting and enjoyable piece. It consists of the following four movements, I. Andante espressivo, II. Allegro, III. Adagio espressivo, IV. Allegro vivace.
