I wrote this after driving to a practice that was cancelled due to a phone tree catastrophe. The score is shown for C reading instruments but I have uploaded parts for C, Eb, Bb, and Bass Clef reading instruments. The style is in an easy swing feel, similar to Miles Davis' "Freddie Freeloader". I think this tune has a slightly more "sneaky" sound, for lack of a better word. The idea of using minor blues on this was taken from practicing Charles Mingus' "Boogie Stop Shuffle" which is based in Bb minor blues. I hope you enjoy this. I'd love (as any composer would) to have my music played by many. Please let me know if you find this piece useful. Also feel free to arrange this piece for any instrumentation, and then let me know as I'm curious to see what anyone uses this piece for.

Enjoy,

-Thomas Obeso-
