This was arranged for the Grade 9 band at Bloor Collegiate Institute in Toronto during my time as a volunteer there in the spring of 2006. It is one of two pieces I created for them to play as they finished up their beginner band method book and made the transition to playing stand alone pieces.
This arrangement, like the other one, is not particularly challenging but the students certainly enjoyed playing it and encouraged me to write more for them - which I did!
The Grade 9 band did not have percussion, so if your write a part for it(or your students do) kindly send it along. Have fun!
