After years of writing string quartet arrangements, I was asked to adapt some of them for clarinet quartet (3 clarinets and 1 bass clarinet) and saxophone quartet (2 alto saxophones, tenor, and baritone. This is the fourth of them.

Johann Strauss, Jr. (1825-1899), the "Waltz King", also produced a great deal of other popular dance music for the Viennese public including polkas, galops, and quadrilles, in addition to his 13 operettas. The "Tritsch Tratsch" Polka is one of the best known polkas.
