This is a medley of some of the great standards of the 1920’s. It starts with "Margie" at a slow MM100 then picks up to MM150 for–"Alexander’s Ragtime Band"–-"Toot Toot Tootsie Goodbye"–-"Whispering" and "Jada". It has a happy "2 Beat" feel–like the 20’s.––––––––––––––––––––––––––––-The Heritage Series is written to be easy to play and easy to listen to. They all have familiar tunes, sound full, have easy ranges and involve nothing more complicated than an eight note. The object is to produce music and not to display technique. The harmonies, lines and logical counterpoints make these arrangements play well with modest technique. Markings are at minimum to keep things simple.

String Bass and Piano must be used to make these arrangements work. The optional acoustic guitar (NOT ELECTRIC) will help the "rhythm section". Electric bass could be substituted. There is a 3rd Violin part that is really a treble clef viola part if you have no viola players, or to bolster what you have.
