After the intro horn line the piano and bass enter with drums with a McCoy like voicing in fourths modal minor vamp. Written trumpet solo is in the style similar to Freddie Hubbard or Tom Harrell. The Tenor solo uses pentatonic scales mixed with blues scales with chord running especially during the bridge section.
