As a prolific composer, arranger, and orchestrator, Gary Lanier has over 8,000 published works including adult musicals, youth musicals, children musicals, choral collections, octavos, solos, worship choruses, orchestrations, and instrumental music ranging in styles from classical to pop and liturgical to evangelical.
His education, while at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, afforded him the opportunity to study Composition with Merle Ellis and Dr. William Latham, and Theory Pedagogy with Dr. Robert Ottman.
