Jeremy Corcoran

Jeremy Corcoran received a BM in Music Education from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, where he studied Jazz Composition and Arranging with Brett Zvacek, and an MM in Music Education from Ithaca College where he studied Composition and Arranging with Dr. Gregory Woodward. He currently teaches in the Owego Free Academy School District where he directs the 6th Grade Concert Band, 7th/8th Grade Symphonic Band, 7th/8th Grade Jazz Band and the High School Jazz Band 2. Jeremy performs with Scott Freeman and the Revival Horns, (where he is the primary arranger for the band), The Mason Warrington Big Band, and the Binghamton Philharmonic. His Jazz works and small ensemble works have been performed by the Crane School of Music Jazz Ensemble, Mason Warrington Big Band, Corning East High School, Northside Blodgett Middle School, Vestal Middle School, West Genesee High School, Allegany-Limestone Middle School, as well as Australia, Canada, and Great Britian. He currently resides in Apalachin, New York with his wife Denise, daughter Lydia, and two dogs, Sophie and Molly.
