Bernd Wohlgemuth

Bernd Wohlgemuth (*1962), pharmacist and alternative practitioner, has been fascinated by the organ as an instrument since childhood and has been playing the organ as a hobby and volunteering in church music for decades.

Many of my compositions are improvisational pieces that were written down later. The CHORAL STUDIES in particular emerged from practice for practice. This involves dealing with the medium of "choral" in a wide variety of styles for a wide variety of ensembles - organ works from the bicinium to the choral fantasy, choral works for children's, women's, men's and mixed choirs (some with organ accompaniment), but also for small ones chamber music ensembles…
