Was born in London, England and studied Bass Trombone at the Royal College of Music. He was appointed as principal Bass Trombone with the North Netherlands Symphony Orchestra in 1980 and has freelanced with most British and Dutch orchestras. He teaches Bass Trombone at the Groningen College of Music, composes for the bass trombone and is a member of 'The Trombonauts' and 'Dutch Brass'
