David James Pallister

I graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a degree in Music Education in 1986 and a Teachers's Certificate in 1987. I taught Grade 7/8 band and junior grade core for about 10 years. Then, I stopped teaching music as it was putting too much strain on my voice. At that time, I switched to teaching primary grades until I retired from teaching in May of 2017.

My first completed composition was "Summer Storm", which I wrote with my piano and arranged for high school concert band in my senior year of high school. I went on from there, to university, where I learned about teaching band with a special interest in composing and arranging.

Since university, my composing and arranging has been sporadic over the years. Now that I am retired, it is my goal to write and arrange music on a regular basis. I have made a few YouTube videos of my music. Take a look! You can go to YouTube and find them using aries29music as your search.
