Hi! my name is Luiz Carlos Fernandes Teixeira. Sorry, but in Brazil we have more than two names. Everyone knows me by Luiz Islo Nantes Teixeira. I am composer who comes from a family of musicians. By the way, one of my relatives wrote the Bossa Nova Standard "O Pato/The Duck" recorded by Stan Getz, Joao Giberto, Charlie Bird. The serie of songs entitled 'INSULANAS" is a tribute to the neighborhood I was born in Brazil, my hometown Ilha do Governador, Rio de Janeiro.
