StJohn Weyers, born 1957, is married to Philippa and they have two children, Hermione(6) and Tudor(2). Currently Director of Music in a rural prep school in Suffolk. Plays piano, oboe and violin and runs various ensembles and choirs. Interested in 20th-century composers and especially their chamber music, but really open to all music. Compositions are always lyrical and eminently accessible but rather less than predictable and always interesting to both performer and listener. Pieces tend to be on the concise side - always leaving the listener wanting more!
