Ros Groves

Ros Groves grew up in Birmingham, gaining a degree in music from the University of Reading. She has spent her working life teaching the violin and viola in Hampshire, Hillingdon and as Head of Strings at Watford Boys' Grammar School.

Her particular interest in ensemble conducting and coaching has led her to compose for whatever forces and standards she has been presented with.

Now recently retired, she aims to publish a formidable quantity of compositions and arrangements, largely for strings, accumulated over a span of nearly forty years.
