Edward Berden

At the age of 10 I started playing the French Horn, first in a local Wind Orchestra in Venlo in the Netherlands and later in the local Symphony Orchestra. At the age of 16, I went to the Conservatorium in Maastricht to study French Horn, Theory of Music and Conducting.

As a young boy I became fascinated by all kinds of scores and I wanted to learn the craft of reading and writing them myself. So, from my twelfth I started arranging and composing.

Although I mainly conducted choirs, my love for Wind Instruments and Symphonic Music never ended, so I composed and arranged a lot for Choirs with Wind Instruments and Small Symphonic Orchestras.
