Matthew Birkett

Matthew Birkett (1989 - ) is a composer and arranger of brass band music, based in Cheshire, England. His music is varied, from Latin-themed concert works, to concert openers, arrangements of classical overtures and original concert and concert works. Matthew is a tuba player with, and bandmaster of, a brass band local to where he resides. Matthew's publishing label- MEB Music- is not only formed of his initials, but also stands for "Music, Enjoyment, Brass", which sums up his writing and arranging style.
