My music career started when I was 5 years old, as I watched my uncle play our converted player piano during family gatherings. His love for music inspired me as a young girl.
In 2002 I completed a BM in Piano Performance from California State University, Northridge. Since then I have taught piano, recorded two solo piano CD's ("Glorify" released in 2005 and "Impromptu" released 2012 which can be found on itunes and Spotify) and have also worked on many smaller recording and arranging projects.
Although my degree was in Piano Performance, I have also enjoyed learning the guitar (classical and acoustic), mandolin, tin whistle, harp, cello, and steel drum. As you can see by my choice of instruments, I love Celtic music! Yet my next goal is to become proficient at orchestration.
Music moves me greatly, and especially when it is used to praise my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. J.S. Bach said it especially well, "The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul."
