Sandra Woolsey is a bassoon player and teacher. She studied at the Royal College of Music, London and at the National Centre for Orchestral Studies at Goldsmith's College. Sandra loves performing in orchestras and ensembles and anything that gives her the opportunity to play the bassoon as much as possible! Currently she is the Director of the Hampshire Double Reed Ensemble for which many of her compositions and arrangements are written. As a teacher Sandra plays and teaches the full range of woodwind instruments and composes and arranges music to suit the needs of her pupils. These works have been written for a wide variety of woodwind ensembles with careful thought for both the range and tone quality of each combination of instruments.
