Enthusiastic and versatile young Irish composer and arranger, recently graduated from Queen's University, Belfast with a 1st class honours in Music. I write in a variety of styles, from contemporary concert hall to accessible new music for brass/concert band and music for media. I am experienced at arranging for many ensembles and styles.
I have had pieces performed by various ensembles in Ireland, England, Scotland, and the USA, and have had music workshopped by players from the Philharmonia, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the Plane Dukes Rahman Trio and more.
I have received two Foundation Scholarships from Queen's University, and won the Hedy King Robinson Prize for music theory in 2007.
As well as composing, I enjoy playing with brass ensembles and in a piano duo.
