David B Williams

My background is in music education and music technology and I am professor emeritus at Illinois State University. I am a woodwind player and have done a bit of composing and arranging from time to time during my music career. Some of that work is shared here.

My degrees are in instrumental music education and music theory (Northwestern State University of Louisiana) and a PhD in systematic musicology (University of Washington, Seattle). I studied composition with Abrum Plum, John Verrell, and Robert Suderberg.
