Dita Tantang

Though technically inexperienced (only grade two in piano, flute and recorder, however she was not required to do grade one in either flute or recorder), Dita Tantang continues to practice piano on an ad-hoc basis, learning select pieces as well as creating her own compositions. She will occasionally pick and strum the guitar using her limited knowledge of the chords.

During her teenage years, she was influenced with the boyband/pop genre and would write songs matching that style. A few years later, Dita discovered the thought-provoking world of film (and trailer) music. Soon after getting to know the famous themes of John Williams, she found herself in awe of the works by Hans Zimmer, then later Steve Jablonsky.

Despite her favourites, Dita is always open to new music and has an extensive collection of original soundtrack scores that she enjoys. With this, she has moved on to composing instrumental pieces of music, rather than lyrical songs.

Music aside, Dita is a financial analyst by day… and a fight performer, dancer, stunt trainee, video editor and web architect by night. (",)
