Jon Cullen

Jon Cullen is a graduate of Middlesex University where he studied Composition, Conducting and Education. He is Musical Director of a large Parish Church in London and, since 1977 has conducted a large number of concerts with music of all styles. In recent years his compositions have been received with enthusiasm.His music contains both Modern and Classical elements and he writes in an accessible style with a strong melodic line. To date, his music has been well received by the choirs and orchestras with whom he works.

Jon's latest work 'Fire on the Green' tells the story of the Martyrs burnt at the stake in Stratford less than a mile from the London Olympic Stadium for 2012 under Queen Mary I. The work was received enthusiastically at it's premier and will be performed again in the summer of 2012 just before the Olympics begin.
