Michael Thomas Andrews is a composer, arranger, and orchestrator writing in a broad range of styles for professional and amateur musicians. He has written arrangements for BBC Songs of Praise, the All Souls Orchestra, and bass-baritone Jonathan Veira. He is currently orchestrating a film score due for release early next year. He has written works for Lontano, Spirituoso, soprano Juliet Fraser, Juice, and the Old Royal Naval College Chapel Choir. Andrews is a member of the newly-formed Modi Ensemble and regularly writes new compositions in a broad range of styles, including contemporary-classical, jazz, musical theatre, soundtracks, and church music for professionals and amateurs. Andrews has studied composition with Robert Keeley, Joseph Phibbs, Deirdre Gribbin, Errollyn Wallen, Stephen Montague, and Paul Bartholomew (Jools Holland) and has a first-class degree from King's College London in music. Aside from composition, Andrews works as a freelance music director and teaches piano and composition privately. He is Director of Music at Christ Church Highbury and is Conductor of the St John's Highbury Vale School Choir.
