Over the past decade, moslty self taught, Sevag has composed more than 25 classical pieces for solo piano, chamber groups, as well as piano and orchestra. Sevag learned piano under the tutelage of several teachers including Yervand Yerkanyan starting in 1988.

Having earned both a Baccalaureate Diploma and Bachelor of Arts (Piano) from the Lebanese National Conservatory of Music, Sevag has applied his talent to teaching new generations of students at his alma mater since 2001 while continuing to perform concerts .
