Stuart graduated as a Tuba player from the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, and later gained a Masters from the University of St Andrews. After some time working in education, based first of all in London and then in Los Angeles, he returned home in 2009 to resume working as a freelance musician. Stuart is currently working as the MD on Whisky Kisses at Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
