This is a atmospheric piece for amateur string orchestra. It is in two contiguous sections of roughly equal length divided by a Bartók pizzicato note in the first violins. The first section is a mostly-gentle storm, and the second a Japanese tea ceremony attended by a rather uncomfortable English tourist.
