The Festival of French Carols was an opportunity to unite in one continuous sequence many well known carols from France, beginning with the stirring Veni Emmanuel which returns at the end to introduce the final ’Angels from the Realms of Glory’. Premiered in December 2009 in Chester Cathedral by the Kelsborrow Choir and the world famous Grimethorpe Colliery Brass Band it is also available with keyboard accompaniment,as here. The vocal score is a master for multiple copies, hence the price.
